Overheard at dinner tonight:
"Hey - Sharon said I could have free office space in her basement if I wanted it."
"Honey, no."
"Why not?"
"Why not? Her basement is unfinished. AND she lives an hour away from us. Can you imagine driving two hours to commute every day?"
"So? I could drive that."
(look of incredulosity, points to large SUV parked outside) "SO? You drive the gas-guzzling machine of the century. You might as well STAB THE EARTH."
