vote for my hair!

I have an appointment with my hairstylist this Friday. I made this appointment because my hair looks like crap. And it's too long. And Aidan likes to grab it a lot, and that sort of hurts, so I'm going shorter. I want something that doesn't scream "Mom hair", but not something so out there or high maintenance that I can't keep it up. So, I'm asking you, dear readership, to help me decide!

Here's me now:

And here are your options (just the cut - can't afford to color right now):
Option #1

Option #2

Option #3

Option #4

So, what do you think? #1, #2, #3, #4? Vote in the comments section and let me know...

I think number two! I had something like that once and a massive plus point was that it was v low maintenance!

I think you look like you're 8 years old in the picture you took. :-)

Whatever you do will look great on you! (Look at me, I'm becoming an exhorter. LOL)

I like 1 or 4, but an Anne of Green Gables chignon would be lovely.---Diana

Hmmm. Must be my yummy wholesome goodness.

No, see, THIS is where I need Shannon the Prophetess. One of these hairstyles is RIGHT. The rest are WRONG. You must help me discern!

Diana -

Perhaps I can get the Anne chin-length do, the one she gets right after she accidentally turns her hair green (which, in present day, would actually be a positive and make her very fashionable in some circles)...

Okay, well...

My prophet soul says to go for something that you can pull out of your face and/or off your neck. That, or go short.

Keep it low maintenance for your own sanity, because on work days you get up EARLY and you're not going to want to spend tons of time on your hair.

How's that for not very helpful? ;-)

I like #1 the best, and it looks like the layers are long enough that you could at least pull it back with a headband and have it lay nicely.

Ah mann. Now I'm all jealous. I want a haircut.

I'm torn between #1 and #3. #1 looks like it will take less "doing" though.

I'm going with 4. It's different, but cute. And I think any of them would be doable with a headband to pull it back if you wanted. :)

1 or 3 is it. definitely.

I have to agree with Kelly and SLM the prophetress, From my guy point of view, 1 or 3 is your ticket. Remember that it is two guys who will be seeing you most of the time, where it matters the most. One wants a cool-looking mom, the other wants an beautiful-looking wife and mother of his child. Neither is I, so focus on the other two people and MOST of all yourself.

I vote 1, guapa, it just SINGS "Anne" to me.

My wise, married-lo-these-many-years advice is to chuck all the crap that we say and let Jason vote.
