We've been finding ourselves in need of some greeters at Grace Fellowship lately. Most churches I've attended in the past would have just included a two-sentence call out for volunteers during their spoken announcement time, maybe with some pious pleading and encouragement to sign up. And everyone would sort of shift uncomfortably in their seats if they weren't already serving at the church in some capacity, avoiding any eye contact.
But I think I've made it clear that I don't go to any ordinary church. My family ROCKS. No boring announcement time or guilt-tripping where I go!
