random updates, last day edition

I'm happy to say that with this post, I am successfully fulfilling my NaBloPoMo promise: a post every day for the month of June, with the optional theme of "home". Whew. I feel tired just typing this. I have to admit I'm kinda glad it's over, but proud to see all these posts for June, too.

My friend Kelly has a secret. You can read about her not telling what that secret is here. Me? I know the secret. That beautiful glow she has is just the wonderful after-effects of throwing such a wonderful baby shower for her friend.

I have some good news to share soon that is not baby-related.
I have to keep it under wraps for the time being, but I'm looking forward to sharing it with you soon. All things in due time...

Just when I thought the drama was really over, I am seeing those little pellets again. I am trying really, really, really hard not to freak out, especially when I find opened boxes of cereal and crackers around the kitchen. Breathe, breathe...

Lest you think that MySpace is just for the under-30 set, I just found out via Oprah that Tom Hanks has his own MySpace page. I'm not sure whether I'm amused or disturbed by this.

Anyone with any recommendations for a manly diaper bag that does not look girly, please let me know. The one I registered for on Babies R Us is always listed as "temporarily unavailable online", only the temporary part seems to have become permanent, and I can never find it in-store. I LOVE the diaper bag I have (thanks, Wendy!) but I'll admit the style I chose is a little girly for Jason. So I need something a little less me, a little more him. Bonus if it connects to the Internet all by itself, has GPS navigation, and changes the diapers for you.

My hubby always used a "manly" backpack:)

I was going to recommend Eddie Bauer as well. I've made quite a few myself now, but they have all been excessively girly. Course, a girl always loves a challenge! :)
